geen open brain will not eat

im an addict lol
I have just started keeping LPS. I was told that my brain would eat mysids or someother small food like this. well my fish are very fast eaters nothing gets to it, so I used a feeder stick to feed it and it will not take the food. Is this normal what am I doing wrong?

Maybe it is not hungry. Some of my brains eat sometimes, sometimes they don't. Give it about a week, then try it again. Cyclops-Eeze is a good food to put in the water to stimulate their feeding response.

I had a red lobo that loved to eat for the first 4 months and then all of a sudden he didnt eat or extend tentacles at feeding time for over a month, he is now eating again, so they are just finicky sometimes. Try to catch it at night with tentacles out if you are really concerned about him eating.

Make sure it's in good light and leave it alone. It will eat when it wants/needs it. Poking it with a stick is not a good idea.
