I have my 540 where i am about two fish from a full stock list. My silver foxface and my blue tang both have a little bit of a mouth sore from what it looks like. the also have scratches on there bodys. My emperor angel has a little bit of fin rott with some bloches on his side. everyone one else looks good. The foxface has stoped eating and the blue tang looked like he had a seizure today running into a pile of rocks then going stiff.I have been feeding them brine shrimp like a dumb a** that has little to no nutitional value.I have mysis and krill that I havent feed in about 2 or more weeks. I was thinking about getting some gel tek Penicillin that was recomended by a local fish stores Curator but I am currently running copper at .5 to kill any inch or other parasites. Would it be safe to run the two medicines together???? Also no Qt tank so what should I do?????

I was thinking about forgeting about the copper and doing some water changes to be safe. I will start feed the others mysis and krill and maybe some pellet (whats the best).

Hello,

You should try all of it. A varied diet is a good for any species. The FF should have lots of greens too.

As for copper in your tank you have to be carful about inverts and the rocks. you can do a lot of damage and can kill everything in the main tank with it. Therapeutic levels are key for it to have an effect.

Fin rot is a gram negative bacteria so treatment with something like Mayacin 2 which is for gram negative bacteria.

I wouldn't treat the main tank nor would I add any more fish until your current population is healthy.

with having a large tank it will be hard to cure the diseases without taking your fish out.

Best,
HB
