gel type food

Hello I was wondering if anyone has tryed a gel type food like rapashy. If so what was your opinion any feed back is welcome

Tried the instant ocean gel. Got it free from a store as a Christmas gift. I only used one pack an threw the rest away. Did not disburse in the water for the fish to eat just stayed as a glob and sunk to the bottom.

Yeah, same here. It comes out as a glob and the fish and corals don't want to eat it.

This one is not like the instant ocean this is a powdr with vitamins mostly protien that you can mix yoir own aminos and nori in you heat water then refrige to gel then cut up for the week
I saw it on american reef they call it high performance diet or hpd for short

So far the fish are loving the new food I do find I have to break it up into little pieces cause some of my spoiled fish wont swim to the bottom to eat.

I tried my own food mix and used scallops in a food processor as the gel component works out pretty well

Rapashy makes the type that I am using. I mix two types with selcon nori muscles squid mysis shrimp and freeze dried tubeflex worms.
