I have a couple of small patches of Gelidium (red turf algae )
I have several ceriths and nerite snails along with a lawnmower Blenny and a blue tang.
none of these guys will eat this stuff. I read in forums that Mexican turbo snails are my best bet.I went to the LFS to buy one for my 125 gallon tank. He said he had several so i got 1 big one. To my surprise when i got home and did some research i found i had zebra turbo snail
Instead of a mexican.

Will this Zebra eat the Gelidium in your experience?
Anything to worry about this snail besides it tipping over corals?

Update

Large zebra turbo wouldn't touch the red turf algea. I added 2 mexican turbos and they have put a major dent in it in less than a week.
And i did have to epoxy my frag plugs to rock in order to keep the turbos from tipping them over
