General Clam Reading

I recently purchased a derasa and wanted to know if there is some good general reading on its behaviour. I already have the Reef Invertebrates book by Anthony Calfo but am looking for other reading that may help understand some of the things it does - like when we get up in the morning and it laying on its side - is that bad, do I help it back upright, does it mean its dying or doesn't like it position or do I just relax and leave it be?

most clams will move around a bit when there new to your tank. its fine to set them back up so that there mantle is facing the light.
