Generator

Fired up the generator just to make sure it was ready to roll if needed. Hopefully we won't but always good to be ready. Hope all goes well for everyone.

When you say "ready to roll" does that mean you make house calls? Now there's a good friend! Did I mention that I brew my own beer?

tested mine last night and charged my new battery back ups as well. hope i wont need it made it thru last winter with out any power outages hope its goes as well as last winter

the stress level sure goes down when you have guaranteed back up power. i think spring time storms are more stressful then the snow and ice storms.

I'd like to hook it up through an automatic transfer switch, but can't justify that since I use it twice a year on average. Cody I have taught guitar and brewing beer, but suspect you mean scholastic educator.

The stress goes down when you brew your own beer too, but I don't want anyone to think I live to brew. I mean sometimes I think about food.

Yup, professor type. There's a UCO/OCCC Bio professor named Tony that also brews his own beer that I know...good guy and I hear he makes good beer too.

Stay warm up there guys! Your cold front isn't too far from here now.

A manual switch is probably a better option unless you have a whole house generator. It costs a little but not too bad and takes the cords strung all over the place out of the equation. No need for it so far. Generator only rolls out the side door. But can take you up on the homebrew .

Of course you should have the MTS wired in by a licensed electrician (liability disclaimer). With the many UPSes I have, everything works until I can get home and start the generator and my setup was definitely cheaper than the whole house setup with an Auto transfer switch. I wish it wasn't so loud, but at least it is outside.

Call me after the ice melts a little. I just put 10 gallons in the beer cooler...

I would like to get together with him. I don't know very many people who brew. Oh, and I need to get the beer fridge connected to one of the MTS circuits...
