My pair of Genicanthus caudovittatus in hypo
very rare in my country and am lucky to find them. but the female seems to be turning male...?
normally female caudovittatus will exhibit a black band through it's eye. you can see here that the band is completely absent and has been reduced to a spot on it's forehead..
one thing i don't understand about genicanthus is that sometimes even in a "pair", males can revert to female and females can change to male.
why? i don't know...
could it be they are not a true pair and not interacting? not enough female? dunno.
