Genicanthus Melanospilos trio - free to large home

I am planning a large tank breakdown. The system has been running just for these fish, which I've had for almost 5 years.

Background: The trio has been together in a 750 gallon (10 ft x 4 ft) tank. I want them to stay in a large tank, so free to someone that can care for them that has an 8 ft. or above tank. My first choice for a nice home would be in Matt's (Sho) store tank (I've not contacted him yet). The only other roommates they had were an 8" sailfin, 4" naso, 14" vlamingi, and a 4th female melanospilos that disappeared after 2 years.

The male is terminal male, is about 5, maybe 6" body with lyretail, but the streamers have gotten shorter with neglect. The females are about 4".

No pictures, the tank is in bad condition and is not clean, so there will be no good pictures to show.

Pickup will be either Saturday the 24th or Saturday the 31st, Gurnee.

Thanks dman, and everyone who sent pm's. I will be going through them.

All, please be willing for me to see your system if you are serious. I am waiting on a response from Matt. I will be contacting everyone that has sent messages.

Thanks for your interest.

Pm's on this have been returned and there were a few people with systems as big as my new one.

I just wanted to give some more detail and the current process I plan to go through for them.

I have a new system I set up, 300 gallon main tank tied to 2 x 30 gallon cubes. It is 30" deep, and I am not putting them in there because I don't feel it's enough space for them. They are active.

I would like to first find someone that has at least a 10 foot tank, hopefully with at least 30" depth. If I can't find one, then I will contact those that have 8 foot tanks.

I am not in a rush, even though I am breaking down the 750. I don't want to do something because I'm in a hurry. Especially since this is a nice trio, is hard to find as a trio, and is FREE.

wow... I've been looking for a pair of swallowtail or bellus angels, but only have a 150G... Good luck finding them a home. Beautiful fish.
