Jeremy.... Once again.... YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!! This GEO Aqua silencer is awesome. I almost forgot what it was like for my basement to be so quiet and noise free... I was using a Durso, but it was too short so the water would still splash and would surge at times due to the air hole being too large.. Well this thing solved it big time and the adjustable height is an awesome feature. Thanks for carrying another great product.

I also bought this silencer but when I tried to use it, it seems like it cannot keep up with the flow. Do I need to use that screw adjustment for anything that is on the bottom or can I drill a few holes in the pipe to allow more water to get through. Right now I am just using the airline that come with the unit and that has made a noticable difference in the amount of noise from the overflow.

Jeremy may want to chine in here, but maybe there is in fact too much flow through the drain. Back down on your return pump and see if the problem resolves itself.. The most important flow inside your tank is being handled by either your power-heads or a closed loop, so don't worry about backing off on the return.

Agreed, back the flow down just slightly on the pump and see if this helps at all.

Being that my tank is in my man cave equipped with home theater, I almost forgot how nice it is to watch a movie with virtually no ambient noise. LOL!
