Geo Calcium Reactors

I am planning on a new Ca Reactor for my 72G tank.
Currently I have the Coralife Ca Reactor...well all I can say is you get what you paid for.
I think quite a few members like the Geo.
I am just wondering what is their advantage over some of the other brands.
I checked one out online here are my thoughts...
Price.
Feature - it does have a probe holder for the smaller untis.

I just got one. I am waiting for my regulator to come from a different vendor but I loaded it with media and did a water test and I am impressed with the design and workmanship of the Geo 618. I should be getting my reg by mid week if you would like to check back with me.

I don't know about any other brands, but I have a 618 right now and I love it. Very well made and easy to work with. So far I couldn't be happier.

excellent reactor ,easy to maintenance & buid like a rock , i suggest to buy the 6/12 i have the same on 120 gallon tank and you don't need bigger then that to your 72 gallon .

I don't have a GEO calcium reactor but a kalk reactor and I also really like the build quality. I have a question for those of you that own the calcium reactor, does the media sit still at the bottom like the Korallin reactor of the reactor or does it swish around like the Deltecs?

I've had my Geo 612 for several months now. Sold a Korallin C-1502 to buy it. The Korallin used less CO2, but really was unstable IME at keeping parameters, and took a long time to dial in. Might have been the media I was using, (Caribsea ARM) but the Geo is rock solid, and was dialed in on the first day.

Worth the money IMO. Only reactor I will own from now on.

The Schuran Jetstream Pico is reasonably cheaper, designed for aquariums up to 125 gallons, and has gotten awsome reviews (many consider Schuran to be the best in the business). In any case, it is worth a look considering that your 72 gallon tank probably doesn't need a reactor designed for over 300 gallons as is the case with the GEO's.

At premium aquatics the Schuran Jetstream Pico is only cheaper by $10. I never seen a Schuran Jetstream Pico but the GEO's are built solid. I always like to oversize on my stuff so I don't have to buy it twice.

I was hoping to get a Geo skimmer but George stopped production of them. I guess he has too much work just keeping up with the calc reactors.
