Geo Calicum Reactor Help

Can someone tell me how to connect the Maxijet 1200 to the feed side of the GEO 618 reactor?

I am reading the instructions which says to connect it using 3/8" OD tubing supplied, but the tubing is just too small to stay connected to the end of the pump. As soon as I turn on the Maxijet it blows the end of the tubing off.

What am I missing?

Should be a small adapter that goes from the 3/8" tubing on the reactor up to 1/2" ID hose, and a small 4" or so section of the larger hose that slips on the outside of the MJ.

If you cut a slit in the 3/8" tubing and wrap it around the 1/4" tubing then insert the 1/4" tubing wrapped in 3/8" tubing into the maxi jet nozzle. It should form a tight seal. That is how I have my calcium reactor fed.

GEO forgot to include the adapter in the original shipment and has since sent it to me. I've now got it hooked up and running well.

How many people who use Calicum Reactors also use Kalk Reactors to help maintain PH? I have somewhat low PH at around 7.9-8.0 already and I'm worried about it dipping further now that I have the Calicum Reactor setup.
