GEO kalc reactor

I recently purchased a GEO kalc reactor, model #GEO-KALK618. The instructions state of use 1/2 cup of kalkwaiser, I've seen others from precision Marine that recommend 2 cups of kalk even though it is a smaller unit.
Anyone out there have experience with the GEO reactor? How much kalk do you use? Are you happy with the unit?

In the past I have put larger amounts in mine, ie 2-3 cups at a time. I have found that it works better(more potent/higher ph) with smaller amounts added more often. I now add about 1/3-1/2 cup weekly.
