I filled a ziploc w/ crushed ice and placed it @ the base where ever accessible. I used the powerhead to keep water circulating and occassionally shot the base w/ it.
I ever held the rock upside down while I worked the base w/ my finger. Gravity helped in this case.
I did manage to damage the foot a bit, but these aneomones were tough as heck and super healthy. The were looking healthy by the next morning.
