Getting back into hobby and could use some advice

It's been about 16 years since my last marine aquarium. I would have rated myself as advanced at the time, but it seems as though a lot has changed concerning the equipment available. I plan on starting up a 210 gallon reef tank and a 45 gallon refugium. I've learned over the years that the right equipment can make keeping a lot easier and vice versa with bad equipment. So I was wondering what everyone thinks is the best from lighting to protein skimmers, wave makers, etc. etc.

Sorry if this was the wrong place to post this thread. Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Octopus skimmer, Koralia or Tunze powerheads, Mag or Eheim sump return pump. Tek and Icecap are good lights.

MP40's over Tunze any day of the week, +1 on the Super Octo XP Cones they are the best for the price range. LED's if you can afford, The power bill ???

Octopus extreme/MSX skimmer, Radium or Phoenix bulbs, MP40 and MJ Mods, JBJ Auto Top Off, Aquacontroller and ozone. Those were the keys for me to low maintenance and overall success.
