Well folks, it's been awhile since my last post. I actually havent been out of the coral reef sence just been out of the reefcentral scene.
Anyways since ive been out I've lost knowledge on which fish will be compatible with what.

SOOOOO? My questions is I have a yellow hawaiian tang and a six line wrasse with some softies, what kind of fish can I put in there?
Please advise.

Thank you

Sailfin Blenny
flame wrasse
Clowns
Anthias
Chromis
Cardinals
Gobies

You have lots of options. You just can't put too many fish in.

So your saying I can put in another wrasse
Yep

I heard that anthias are very hard to feed
I have not heard that. It would be something to look into.

similar question on another post. I do remember reading about Lyretails - not that they were hard to feed, but they require feeding frequently, which overwhelms many systems with the nutrients. as a result, many owners cut back on the feeding and the fish starve. from what I read, the recommendation was to have several in a small shoal and have several overlapping, effective means of nutrient transport.

ive had a pink square anthias and he was a BEAST! he ate EVERYTHING...then hot a pair for her and the male did the same...

if you want an anthias a pink square will be very hardy and it will eat.

Only certain species of anthias have special feeding requirements.

I believe it has something to do with their metabolism.

However, I have read that it is recommended to offer them multiple feedings daily for the first few weeks, then gradually transition them into your normal tank feeding schedule.

Also, I have seen some neat setups which utilize automatic feeders to provide them with food when you are not around.

So your sayinfg the the pink square anthias should be able to eat normally then?

Which anthias family should I stay away from?
