what i have so far:
basically two tanks, one is the main tank(glass), and the other one is below it(acrylic). the one below is one i custom built that is a sump in the back and a tank in front. it was going to be a fuge. all this is built in to the wall, and from the front you can see just the front glass of both tanks. top tank i want to keep sps, and the bottom tank my wife has claimed as hers.the bottom tank will have a 7"sand bed, was planning on the samefor the top, but im concerned about all the flow the top tank will have(closed loop with a dart/oceanmotions),
can i go bare bottom, or maybe just a 1" sandbed on the top tank? will the bottom tank be enough with the dsb to control both tanks?
top tank is 36"L x 18"W x 24" tall
bottom tank is 28" x 10"w x 24" tall
