Getting eggs on the Tile

So, I have a pair of False Percs that spawn like clock work always on the same spot near the foot of their RBTA. I have placed a tile in the close vacinity to their "egg laying place", but they are ignoring the tile and continue to use their standard location.

Any tips on getting them to move to the tile?

You may have to use the flashlight technique and scratch the tile idea. On the night the eggs are going to hatch, get a flashlight and shine on top of the water. They go towards the light, then, gently scoop them up. Make sure to introduce the "scoop" away from the larvae so they dont get sucked into the "scoop". Gently move the scoop to them in a skimming motion.

Place the tile in the exact spot they laid the eggs not in the vacinity. Don't give them the opportunity to use their standard location.
