Getting out (of coral) sale

I haven't been on the boards since last year and I've been so busy with work that I haven't had time to devote to my tank. I'm going to sell off the majority of my coral, frag tank, some lighting, and leave the tank primarily fish with maybe a few low maintenance things. Everything has been grown out in my 180 and frag tank. I'm not selling my 180 tank but will offer some equipment as part of the transition from SPS to fish/mixed tank, including some lighting.

This is not a frag sale and only whole corals will be sold, other than those that get accidentally fragged in the process. I will likely try to arrange 1 or 2 days for pick up only since work has me extremely busy. No "dibs" posted here, I will compile a list based on those who email me only at kenfuzed

Also I prefer to sell to those interested in the corals for their own tanks and not in fragging them into a hundred pieces for profit.

Pictures to follow.

Coral

Very large overgrown Birdsnest coral. 24" long x 15" wide x 12" tall (from top of rock). Has some other coral mixed/tangled in; some orange cap and Miami Orchid. $200. This may break up some trying to lift it all up through my euro-braced top. This coral is a monster and has taken over 1/3 of my tank.

Miami Orchid acro. Part of this coral is tangled with the birdsnest (above) but should break away. It is attached to several years of older undergrowth due to uncontrolled growth and no fragging for 2 years. The colored up portion on top is approx 7x7. Origin is either Garrett's or Fantastic Frags. $85

Hawkins Blue Echinata - 2 colonies. #1 is 11" x 6" and #2 is 5x7 but taller. $80 each or $150 for both if I can get it out all attached to the same rock.

Unknown staghorn acro, originally pinkish with blue tips however the color has been dull lately because I haven't kept the parameters up. Approx spread is 14"x7" and stands ~ 11" off the rock. $60

Various pieces of orange cap Montipora. This cap appears more pink to my eye but will brighten up once cared for. $10-20.

Unknown Montipora, has a light flesh tone coloring with white polyps. One piece has some damage on one side where another coral fell against it. Disc is probably 5" wide. $35

Another piece of the above monti plus orange cap tangled together. $35.

Equipment:

Frag tank, heavy glass, 18x24x13 w/bottom drain stand pipe. $50

ATI SunPower 24x4 T5 fixture with fairly new bulbs. This light has been used exclusively over the frag tank keeping both sps and a clam (not for sale) so it puts out plenty of par for a small or cube tank keeping coral. $100. Available after coral is sold.

4 AI Sol Blue LED fixtures. These have been running off of my Apex so no controller included. $200 each or if you take all 4 I'll throw in the 60" AI mounting rails and hanger. Perfect condition and have never run over 50% intensity.

SWC Xtreme 230 Cone Skimmer. This is a very large internal skimmer rated at 200-400 gallons. I was running it on a overstocked 180+frag+refugium (over 220 volume). Has the bullet-proof Askol pump. Also has a Avast Marine Swabbie motorized neck cleaner installed and an overflow switch. Selling for $390. Original details:

Everything is located in Glendora, no shipping, no dibs, no PM's, sold by appt and arranged by email.

Below is a shot of the Birdsnest with the Miami Orchid protruding through the front. The color is not even close, this was taken with a cell phone as the actinics had just come on. To give perspective the birdsnest stretches left to right and is around 24".

I've received offers on just about all the coral except the birdsnest. Before letting the Miami piece go I'd like to see if someone wants them both since it is so tangled together. Better to have one person come and get the bulk of it rather than piece it all out.

Amazing Ken! Your corals wouldn't fit in my tank but would live to see some better pics before removing the corals.

Here's a pic of the Hawkins but with my phone it doesn't look right. Everything is washed out and looks blue in the pics. The back parts of that Hawkins are growing up out of the water.

I'm slowly sorting through all the emails. There's a ton of them. However it seems just about every coral is covered so I'll send replies shortly.

Hi everyone, the Miami Orchid and Blue Echinata are all spoken for. I will know late tomorrow if the birdsnest is gone. At least 2 of the AI lights are sold as well but will know more later. I still need to reply to those who offered on the frag tank and ATI SunPower so I will get to those in order.

Still available is the big SWC skimmer.

Ken did you get my email? Sent it to you yesterday a few minutes after you posted this but didn't get a reply.
