Getting Out

Hi All,

The bug bite has worn off and I'm gettin out of this hobby. I've accumulated more stuff than I can list from memory but here's a start:

Red Sea Max tank, stand (silver) everything it came with as stock plus live rock and what's left of really tough Zoas, as well as miss bars clowns, green gobies, a (randals?)shrimp and a 8" purple clam. I bought new bulbs about a yr ago, havent installed. At the same time I bought the improved skimmer drain (from the tank to the back of tank) but havent installed that either... asking $600 for all.

I have a big CaRx from MRC incl 20# bottle, asking $150

I know I have more in the shed so I'll update more items for sale later.

Well, I've been out of this board so long... I had lots of pics in my gallery but seems that's something of the past.

Mel, I believe the CaRx was from Charles (up in Tri-cities). Travis is on his way over now to check it out as well as first dibs on my remnents from my 300.

Hi Dave,

I thought I remembered you getting out too. I have that Sunlight balast that I was hoping you wanted. Guess not...

So Travis and I went thru the shed last night and I found:

Anyone still running the Sunlight Supply pulse start dual 250W that Joe Wall had? I have one for $100. Ballast and power to the wall only, not to the bulb.

I have a Remora Pro skimmer $100

Two Iwaki's (JP), a Blue Line, and a couple mags (mag 12 never used $50). I need to confirm output of the pumps to give a precise discription but to be compliant with posting prices $125 negotiable each. Let me know if you're interested and I'll confirm models.

I have a 3/4 or 1" Sea Swirl, can confirm if anyone's interested, asking $100. Pretty sure it's 1" as it was for a 300g.

I have a diy Kalc reactor, it's kinda big and ugly, $Free (increases alk if I remember correctly)

Seio M6200 @$10 (no bracket)

Seio 530 new in box 530 w Mag Mount $20

-----------------------------------------

If the tank doesnt sell you guys may see more of me but dont let that stop anyone from buying it! My granddaughter wants a seahorse tank and the RSM seems OK physically for that. I'd just have to learn what it takes to keep them, which may respark my interest. Is anyone in the club keeping seahorses?

Hate to hear you're getting out, Don. Keep checking in on us every once in a while and let us know how you're doing.

Eddie expressed first interest in the clam and is coming over Friday to presumably buy it.

The tank is "red sea max 34 gallon" - Google that and you'll see it. It's about 3-4 yrs old.

CaRx is sold. M620 is spoken for.

Mike, I had a possibly flawed thought about selling the live stock with the tank. If this is the buyer's only tank it would be a bad idea to send the fish home with them because it will probably cycle again.

The misbared percs are truely unique and came from SA. The mid section bar on one only goes half way down the body and the other one only goes half way up. Their names are "Up" and "Down". They are about 2". Asking $75/pr. I'm sure pics will be required. I'll work on that...

Gobies, $20 for two.

Don,

We breed and raise seahorses and can share all sorts of information with you if you are interested!

Mel knows us pretty well so if you ever want to chat just get in touch!

Don, nothing wrong with taking a break form salt for awhile, your blood preasure will improve, but.... You'll be back....!!

If the gobies are Green clowns I'll take them if not spoken for.
Janie

Don,

With all the work you put into the hobby with the 300 and the nano your are leaving? You will be back.

Also you still owe me a flyfishing trip:)

Joe

These guys rock! If they are offering you help with seahorses then you should definitely take them up on that offer, Don.

Hey Don,
If you could get a pic or two I may be interested in them. I would have to run them by my son. I have owed him some nemo fish for over a year now.
