Very nice frags Mark, afraid I can't get a frag of my orange tipped cloves, there are just too few, only 10 in the colony right now.
But here is what I have going so far:

Fragged these over the weekend:

These are really opened back up yet, but blueish green <teal I guess> but good head count

And my wife is comming too, so we will be bring double these frags with maybe a few extras.

Nice stuff folks.

Marko - Some of your pics are really cool. What kinda camera are u using for the macro shots?

Mark, would you mind mentioning what each of your frags are. I don't know coral names, and if you were to list each it would benefit myself and other newbs that want to keep an eye out for your frags as the sawp.
Thanks.

Dang. I half wish I wasn't going to be 5 miles from the nearest dirt road in the bigger part of October. DANG!

I remember seeing historic video of the event/Pam's tank... My eyes were vibrating from the stimuli.

I am using the Olympus 770 snap and shoot. It is the one you can put in the water if need be.

Have you actually put the camara in the water yet? I was reading somewhere that the camera is waterproof but the salt can still take a toll...but I don't know what model they were refering too, could have been an earlier version.

About once a week. I have had it for about six months. The key is to wash it in freshwater.

I also have that camera. I found that if you don't feel like putting it in the water it also takes great pictures through the glass when on Document mode. Very clear pictures.

99% of my pics are thru the glass. I only put it in water to get pics of the tricky corals that can not be seen properly.

That is good to know Mark. I actually missed that camera when I was in the market and doing a little research, I ended up buying a Canon Elph that I am still very impressed with. through the glass shots with the digital macro come out pretty nice, I am still trying to figure out the tricks on adjusting for true color under flourescent lighting and stuff though.
Mine has an aquariums setting but I am not exactly sure what it is good for, everything comes out a little too blue when I use it. But it does have a ton of settings to work with, I just need to learn them.
