getting ready to take all fish out

So i got my 75g tank pretty much full of fresh aged saltwater and i will be getting ready to get al my fish out of the main DT to start treatment using CP and leave the main DT fallow for 10+ weeks. My question is regarding my HOB AC 110 filter which i will be using on the 75g QT.

Right now, this AC110 is running on a 20g tank that has 2 fish in it. This HOB filter has been cycled and established now since Oct of last year. I originally cycled this filter which is full of ceramic rings for media back then and used it on this 75g tank that i am resetting up for the treatment. I've never had any issue with ammonia using this thing and had about 10 fish + corals in it back then for a while. Having said this, my plan is to basically just transfer this filter onto the 75g tank again which has fresh saltwater and put in my fish. Do i need to worry here about ammonia here given this filter is already cycled?

No way of knowing for sure until you put it to the test. I would buy a Seachem ammonia alert badge and monitor that closely.

Two concerns I have:

1. Hopefully the 2 fish in the 20g tank don't cross contaminate your 75 with something that CP doesn't treat (like flukes).

2. I've always just seeded the sponge that comes with the Aquaclear powerfilter. I'm a little concerned about the ceramic rings absorbing some of the CP medication. Might wanna PM alprazo about that and ask how big of a concern is this.

1 of the 2 fish came from the DT on his death bed...i put him in the 20g and treated it with a combination of Cipro and Septra for 5 days and then did a water change and dosed CP which it has been in there now for about 5 days also and he's looking better than ever. I'll definitely put an ammonia badge on there.
