Getting shocks?

Ive been touching my sump and the water seems to shock me, not big nasty shocks but like a fizz on my finger tip, im not sure if its in my head or not?

I unplugged everything in the sump and it still appears to be happening??

theres no electrics on in there. i cant see where it would be coming from?

its bizarre?

Saltwater is a good conductor of electricity. Have you considered that the problem may be in your main tank, like a circulation pump or a heater?

Oh, and before you go sticking your fingers around any more, I'd buy a GFCI outlet or something like this: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=18026

One other thing to check is make sure you don't have a lot of salt-creep on the wires. Even if the plug is un-plugged it can still conduct current if the cord is laying across the out-lets.

Not saying it's that... just something else to check.
