Getting there

I'm finally getting ready to add fish back to my tank after 9 weeks without fish.
I have a mated pair of helfrich's firefish that are also finishing their 4 weeks of cupramine.
I'm wondering if it's going to cause problems if i add the 2 in the display at the same time. My setup is a 20g with a 20g sump with about 50lbs of rocks. I've been feeding my cleaning crew(snails, hernits) and my cleaner shrimp all that time.

Would it be ok?

The question you should ask yourself is: "did I maintain a therapeutic dose of cupramine the whole time?" If so, you should be fine. If not, give it a bit longer

Yes i kept the level of Cupramine to 0.5 all the time. Tested with a salifert kit. I'm not really worried about the Ick so much as ammonia if i add the 2 fish to my tank at the same time. I also treated the fish with Prazipro, just in case LOL

Also how would you recommend i transfer the fish to my display tank. I'm sooo afraid of getting any copper in it. It's full of sps :(

If your ammonia is one firefish from an ammonia problem; I'd worry. A mature tank will produce aerobic very quickly as ammonia increases; but if you fed your tank a little during the fallow period, it shouldn't be a concern.
