Hi Everyone,

My name is Cuong and I've been a saltwater enthusiast in Tucson for over the last 10+ years. I'm married to Stella and have 2 lovely daughters. Stella's father, Jason, got me into the hobby when I met Stella. Before then I was mostly raising Koi. I just got started on Reef Central, so thought I would introduce myself and post pictures of my tank.

I have a 300 gallon mixed reef aquarium, with 3 x 400 Watt Metal Halides, a Calcium Reactor, and Skimmer. The following are some pictures of my tank.

The whole tank - I enjoy all the activity that corals and fish bring.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/starlite7719/5384861515/" title="Whole Tank by starlite7719, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5218/5384861515_1a596a3fda.jpg" width="500" height="333" alt="Whole Tank" /></a>

Here's my favorite view from the side of my tank, I love this view because of the depth that gives my reef, makes me feel like I'm snorkeling on the reef.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/starlite7719/5385462022/" title="Side of Tank by starlite7719, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5216/5385462022_faf321e83b.jpg" width="500" height="333" alt="Side of Tank" /></a>

Left of Tank - My favorite coral on this side of the tank is the large scroll coral, I've had that coral for 10+ years, it is the original coral that got me started.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/starlite7719/5384861633/" title="Left of Tank by starlite7719, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5214/5384861633_fd5c09c634.jpg" width="500" height="333" alt="Left of Tank" /></a>

Middle of Tank - I've got Pavona, Blastos, Torches, Leathers, etc. I like the variety of a mixed reef.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/starlite7719/5384861737/" title="Middle of Tank by starlite7719, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5215/5384861737_c3ea5e5224.jpg" width="500" height="333" alt="Middle of Tank" /></a>

Right of Tank - My giant clam has been in one of my tanks for about 7 years, it has grown quite a bit. I also have an island of various types of euphylias, star polyps, and a ricordia.

Here are some more pictures of my aquarium, with more details. This is a close up of my island with euphylias and fungias on the island.

Stella and I are big fan of Favia's and Chalices, so like to collect them
Favias, Lobo and more

I work in Information Technology Consulting and Sales, where I help customers create IT solutions for their business. My saltwater aquarium gives me a fun hobby and escape from my work. Also, thanks to my hobby with saltwater aquariums, I have also started on my hobby of wood working, as I build the cabinets and canopy for my aquarium.

Now I wanna see more pics of your cabinet. You cant really see it in the ^^^^pics. By the way it was nice meeting your and your wife over the weekend.

This picture shows the cabinetry work for the stand and the canopy. I made the cabinets and hood out of red oak, stained with Rosewood, and I made raised panel cabinet doors.

Hello one and all.
My name is Trever (Trev). I have had my tank for about 1 1/2 years now. This is my first saltwater tank (not sure how many freshwater tanks). It has been quite a learning experience. I am still learning (and asking lots of questions).

I have a 120g tank, 10g fuge, canister filter, HOB protein skimmer, T5 lights...
Here is a photo of the "whole thing" from a couple of months ago (note to self, need an updated picture, I have added several fish, rock, coral since this was taken).

Here are some youtube videos my wife took / posted:

Full tank:

The "camera hogs" kept getting in the way of the corals, but it has some good close ups:

And my "smoking" crab:

Looking forward to meeting all of you, and learning more (hope not to get flamed for asking too many questions).

Hello tucsonians. My name is Ray and i have been in tucson for 30 some years. I've been keeping aquariums for most of them and saltwater since 2000. This is a pic (maybe first time i've tried) of my soon to be retired 110.

Thank you for the kind words. The tank has a cpr overflow which has failed me for the last time. Also i have really destroyed the glass over the years. So my plan is a new 120 with hopefully a more open look. If the glass on the back looks usable I'll try drilling the tank if not my bearded dragons house is getting bigger.

hi im mike i dont really have any good pics of my tanks but ill post some up when i get them. i have a 24 gallon cube a 3 gallon pico and a 10 gallon half moon i've had a bunch of different fish but the one im most proud of is my 7month old mandarin who happily accepts frozen food i have a few different corrals but nothing impressive
