GFO options opinions needed!

I like the pellets. I tried the high capacity, but liked the pellets better. And its cheaper. The granules I didn't like as much due to 'fines', but pellets are just right.

Although pellets are ok, the granules do give you much better surface area which IMO gives them more bang for the buck.

Granules here with the same setup. If you watch BRS's video on GFO they recommend granules over pellets in a reactor too.

I've only used the High Capacity GFO. THE BRS video says the pellets are best when using the bags. Do the pellets work well in the reactors?

Also has there been any 'group buys' lately?

I have been using the pellets in a precision marine reactor. The rhowaphos I was using previously was almost like loose dirt. Usually about a third of it would pass thru the reactor as fines. It was $250 for about the same size pellet gfo from brs that was like $50.Maybe the rhowa and the brs high capacity absorb more po4(idont know) . So far I am happy with the brs pellets as there isnt much dust and it seems to be taking care of my algea without breaking the bank.If I could find cheaper gfo than brs pellets I would try that too.
