GFO (Phosphate?) Reactor

Are there any all-in-one, HOB GFO reactors that anyone here would recommend for a 75 gallon fowlr? I do have a sump, but I'd rather not put anything else in there, if possible, so if there is a unit suitable for this size tank that I could hang on the back, that'd be great, particularly if it comes with a pump. I'm not sure what the flowrate should be. Thanks!

+1 two little fishies. You dont have to have it in the sump, but you could hang it on the back of the sump..
Also, if you can, you can put a T at your return pump with a ball valve to supply your reactor..that will save you the cost of a pump, and electricity.
Plus you save some space.

RobZilla, thanks for the link! I'm gonna get the next one up in size for $58, but I'm definitely gonna try this! Much appreciated!

You're very welcome. I've had this one for several months and no issues. It is a little pain in the @$$ to change the media but do it a couple of times and you get the hang of it.

So you can still combat hair algae and all the nuisance algae. They can still make a FOWLR look ugly.

You could dose lanthanum chloride and it would be 10 times cheaper with no danger to plummeting phosphate numbers in a fowlr.

Its an option no one has mentioned and one that could save OP a lot of money.

A rapid decrease in any parameter can have adverse affects to coral(which he was referring to).

Seeing as you have no coral, theres no risk in plummeting PO4 levels.

Yeah... I did a bit more reading and so far, haven't found a compelling enough reason to not use the reactor. I think I'll stay with that plan.
