GFO-return idea

I had a zoa frag plagued with algae that i moved into the sump (lit by LEDs). I moved the outlet of my gfo reactor to the frag and a few weeks later it is spotless. What if you ran your return line through some gfo?

Would probably restrict flow too much, and would totally trash the media. You could plumb the outlet of your reactor into the return, but that is not different than just dumping it into the return chamber.
