No sps, softies and lps. I am eyeing the brs dual reactor. I will run a good bioload and a fuge.

Couldn't hurt. With a high bioload it'll help keep your phosphates at bay and keep algae out breaks minimal. I've been pretty happy with my brs reactor. I just run a single unit, my carbon goes in a filter bag.

The only thing I would recommend is running two single reactors vs the dual reactor, that way you can control the flow in each independently.

+1 to Phenom5 - dual reactors - GFO and Carbon! Look for someone setting up a Bulk Reef Supply group buy. Thats the cheapest route for high quality GFo & reactors.

I am a big believer in GFO. I keep LPS and softies, but I prefer to keep my tank free of algae. And GFO seems to make a big difference.

Incidentally, I'll likely be selling a pair of gently used BRS dual reactors later this summer.
