GHL ProfiLux powerbar problem

Hi there, I bought an Ati Power module 8x24 dimmiable lighting system from the UK seller around 18 months ago. Unfortunately due to work and family commitment never got around to setup my tank hence lights were never opened and tested assuming they should be fine. Few weeks back I decided to open up the box and decided to test the lighting system and hooked up to GHL powerbar which came as part of the package with built in controller, only to realize that screen on the controller is very fuzzy and you can not read any commands. Since the lights were bought for cash and I have misplaced the receipt due to house move. I contacted the seller straight away but they would not assist me with any of my enquiries or assist me any further. Even thou seller remembers me buying the lighthing system from their establishment but would not take any action to either replace them or send out for the repairs without the receipt. I fully understand that it is my own fault to misplace the purchase documentation but is there anything I could do to solve this problem since the lights and power bar are still under warranty which is 24 months from which I have still have 6 months left.
Alternatively, is there any other way I could use these lights without the power bar? Should I get intouch with GHL in Germany and ask them for any assistance or is there no point since i can not find the receipt?

Any help or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Kind regards

Tahir

1/ I am not familiar with this light module, however with a quick cursory look at the unit on the web, I would not expect it to have to work with the power bar? But not sure on this.

2/ Yes, definitely get a log on for their forum support web site and explain the issue there. They may want to offer you some help. A serial number will also tell how old the unit is by when it came out of production, so they should be able to acknowledge this also.
