Ghost desktop skimmer

I just set up a Fusion 40 tank and am using a Ghost desktop skimmer. I cannot figure out how to get rid of all the macro bubbles coming from the skimmer. Any suggestions would be amazing!

I had the same issue with a different skimmer. Not sure how yours is set up but my solution was a small amount of filter floss(pillow stuffing) wedged between where the micro bubbles were coming out of the skimmer and my bc29 chamber wall. Good luck

The bubbles can come due to the skimmer being new. Once it goes through the called "break in" period(1-2 weeks), a thin coat of biofilm forms on the inside walls of the skimmer and the bubble problem gets under control. Its a common issue and I would in the meantime try like the above post said, using foam or other media to help stop the bubbles from getting into the tank.

If you don't want to wait for it to break in over several days, take it out and run it in a dilute water:vinegar solution for a few hours...

You can try turning it 180°, works for some people with the smaller models.
