Giant acans

Is there such a thing? A while back I bought a frag of 2 heads about the size of a dime each, the guy told me they were giant acans, 3 MO later I have 10 heads and the 2 original heads are the size of a silver doller, they look exactly like the smaller acans I have in my tank however I can find no info on "giant acans". Thoughts?

Giant acans

I have several acans and the one highest in my tank has large heads, quarter sized. (Photo attached) I find all my acans constantly look different throughout the day, but I only have 1 out of 12 that has large heads.
