Giant cup mushrooms

I`ve been keeping a reef for probably 8 yeares and I have had several Giant cup mushroms most of the times when they got too big I got rid of them . because they some times ate my fish I`ve HAD lots of baby ones and I traded them in for credit . This last one I got ate my clown fish imediatly. I was wondering why he disapeard so fast . Iheld A piece of dried shrimp inside his cup when he was closeing up for the night he was cuped already probably a atwo inch hole that thing smelt that shrimp and closed so fast I probably could`nt have saved that shrimp . he is very aggresive. I used to have giant cup that my other clown fish hung out with the other cup .he would hang out in there with gust his head hanging out . I always new his days were limited but them two got along for a long time .years ago I watched one of my giant cups caugh a big giant tang out that mysterously disapered .sorry for the the long thread I gust like to say hey once in a while theres nothing like watching nature take it`s corse
