Giant Gigas Clams

Does anyone know about these giant clams ? Thier availibility? thier cost? any info would be great!

Gigas clams get really large, multiple feet across... so they're not the best animal for our smaller reef aquariums. They're cost is relatively inexpensive, but depends on size and if it was wild caught or aquacultured.

As far as availability and price, Tom at The Reef Shoppe has had them available recently, and I believe they cost about the same as maximas. As Stephany said though, if you're giving them appropriate care, they will quickly outgrow any tank not specially built for them. It's too bad because they are stunning.
