Giesemann or another brand....

Light quality isn't important to the inhabitants of my tank, but I do want to purchase a trouble free all in one unit. Is the Grerman made model worth the extra $ vs. Current and other brands?

Giesemann is mostly notable for being "super sexy". The reflector performance is actually not as good as say the Aqualine Bushke Spacelight or the PFO or SLS DE fixtures. However, it's tough to beat the "look" of the G'manns and they are very reliable, etc....they use the exact same finish/paint as Porsche i think...
