Gigantea Carpet Tentacle Length

Does lighting, flow, or feedings drive the length of gigantean tentacles?

I'm sure mine is a gigantea (purple spots) and not a haddoni. The tentacles are not nearly as short and stubby as most haddoni but doesn't seem as long as others on this forum.

Pretty sure the tentacles extend when they are happy/acclimated to your tank. Could take some time. (assuming it's a gig ofc)

My gigantea took many months to grow longer tentacles than it arrived with, and this was in a tank with an established gigantea, so I don't think it is just simple acclimation.

It's not just a simple acclimation, I'm sure, they do need to get healthy again. Some Gigs show good tentacle extension after a few days. Gigs need strong flow and high lighting to be healthy and happy, so yes, it could have a part in tentacle extension I would say.
