I have a friend whose gigas clam has outgrown his tank and I may provide it a new and larger home. The problem is that my tank is BB and gigas come from sandy substrate areas. Does anyone have any experience with a gigas in a BB tank?
a Gigas will be fine in a BB tank. Gigas clams are most commonly found up on the reef and on hard substrates. they can be found on sand but only in sheltered areas
