Gill Based ich infestation or Something else altogether?

Hey guys, its chief reef, Decided to change my handle on here, thought it was funny at first but seeing people call me by that name in seriousness makes me cringe lol.

Anyways week 3 and Everyones back to normal. Decided to Stick it out and go for four weeks since ive gone through all this trouble and everyones looking good and eating.

Also ive got a pair of Citron clown gobies from coralimports along with a Teeny yellow coris wrasse in QT. Decided im going to observe them for 4 week's to make sure they don't have anything else and the wrasse needs to grow a bit before i feel ok putting him in the DT. Then im going to TTM since gobies are apparently sensitive to copper and dont want to risk the copper Stopping the gobies from feeding(Getting them to feed can be a PITA.)

All in all things are looking good.

Hopefully this will be one of my last updates for awhile lol. 10 weeks finished up with little issue aside one of Citron clowns deciding they didnt like their mate AND my leopard wrasse towards the end of the treatment. unfortunately i had to remove it and relocate to another tank as the other 2 were model citizens. Reintroduced all my inverts and after having them in a fishless system the entirety of the treatment( a little over 11 weeks from start to finish.) and having my DT show 0 copper for a month after hitting it with cupramine and carbon, ill be running a little carbon from now on incase theres some left in the rocks(i changed out the sandbed so i didnt have to be concerned about that too, cupramine isnt supposed to leech into stuff but taking chances is what got me here.)

All in all everythings do fine and everyone seems healthy and happy now. Still all this is alot of trouble and i wouldnt reccomend it to anyone, I could very well come home to a crashed tank a few month into the future despite all the precautions ive taken and research ive done. So far only side effects was a HUGE algae bloom from all the microfauna die off and a bit of cloudy water from replacing my entire sandbed in one go(both have passed, and dont worry i tested my water throughout and there was never a spike in ammonia, Nitrites, Or phosphates.)

I'd still say its a bit early for me the call this a success story as my corals and inverts have hardly been in the tank more than a month if even but Ill post some pictures in the near future when ive had everything up a running a bit more long term just to show what my tank looks like after taking a hit like that. Untill then heres a pic of the citron Gobies after being introduced into the DT (during the algae bloom.)
