Gill flukes

Well, I think for the first time in almost 2 years, my copperband has gotten sick. I'm pretty sure he has gill flukes, he has accelerated breathing, breathing hard, and I noticed what looked like a small patch of white lines on his gills. Hes still eating, but definitely not nearly as aggressive as he used to.
I gave him a quick fresh water dip, maybe a couple of minutes, 3 or 4, and I was thinking of picking up some Ektomarin or Protomarin Coral.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I just went through a bout of flukes myself. All fish got a 15 minute fresh water dip and then a prazipro treatment. The fresh water dip help greatly. Made them less stressed and then I treated them in the DT to make sure I got any eggs if there where any in there. It worked great, the prazipro affected nothing adversely in my DT. The treatment last's for 5-7 days. Good luck.

The only problem is that my Tank is a reef tank, I'm not sure of the effects of prazipro on a reef tank. But thank you for the input, I may fresh water dip and then run a reef safe med.

I have a reef also. The only thing it will effect are ornamental worms. Plenty of history on this subject. Search this forum for the information about prazipro. When your done with your reading, I think you will use it. Good luck.
