GIRS Website Down?

Can't get the GIRS site to load, problems or is it just me?

WE are up to date on the bill, so thats not the issue, i am just wondering who won the photo contest.....grrrrr.

Jeremy can you contact Go daddy and see if they can restore it or something?

I went on late last night and it was acting up then...so I went to bed figuring that they were doing maintenance or backing up, etc.

Just called go daddy and its nothing on their end. It's weird, it seems to work ok, and then when i try and go tot he contest page and view winners it freezes and hang. It makes me think that the contest module is causing the problem.....

Can you ask them to restore the site from a backup earlier yeterday?

That might allow us to get in and look at the contest page....

Just a thought...

Lets go easy on the restore idea until we have a better idea of what is causing the problem. I don't want to see a bunch of posts get lost.

NO! Please DO NOT do this.

I'm aware of the problem and like Jeremy, I think the photo contest module may be to blame in conjunction with GoDaddy's crappy servers.

Next time I'm able to get in, I'm going to disable that module until I know it's not the problem.
