Give me a fish list!

I have a 54g corner tank. It's a mixed reef (mostly softies) but I don't have many fish yet. So far I just have a pair of false percs and a yellow clown goby.

Two other things about my tank are that it's bare bottom (well, starboard), so creatures that need sand are out, and it's an open-top tank, so I'd like to avoid notorious jumpers.

I already have yellow and orange pretty well covered so now I'd like to get some bright red, blue, and green fish. I'd also really like something with black and white spots or stripes too. I only want peaceful, reef safe fish and nothing with real exotic dietary needs. Active swimmers are preferred; I like to see my fish!

Given all those requirements, please help me come up with a fish list!

-chalk bass (blue)
-yellowtail fang blenny (blue)
-sunrise dottyback (blue - I hear these are peaceful for a dottyback)
-royal gramma or brazilian gramma (purple)

Wrasses (fairy, flasher) are awesome for color, but I don't think I'd risk them with an open top. Same goes for puple firefish.

Flame hawk (red)

springeri pseudo (jet black with electric blue) PS - if sunrise = flavivertex, then yes, IME aggressive.

I second the royal gramma (nothing beats those colors!)

pair of green chromis (they get bigger than most people think and tend to fight and pick each other off in groups).

male lyretail anthias (pink/purple).

argi angel (deep blue - not necessarily 100% reef safe)

If you are looking for something corolful try the wrasse group. Sometimes these can be jumpers. Personally I give you a link to the group that I have little problem with jumping. The other two I have lost serveral different species to becuase of jumping.

This group has some nice color and are very active.
Some very nice reds, aan a little blue.

I always like the fridami's Pseudo very colorful and open, and one of the lesat aggressive psuedo.

red -- geometric hawkfish, or regular hawkfish. Or a firefish.

hard to get lots of color with that size tank and avoiding a lid.

if you did a sandbed, you could have some jawfish, really pretty blue fish, IMO.

I can't think of any green fish besides the target mandarin.

For black and white, some bangaii cardinalls.
