Is anyone getting a tank the 7th? If so I may need a favor! Also does anyone have pics of there glass cages tanks?

So dustin, did you buy one from then and it wasn't great or what? I also am thinking of buying from them. The reviews seemed mixed on the RC review but they either loved or hated them.

i have seen many, and they looked good. Most of the tanks in ART and at Exotic Aquatic were from GC.

I posted a pic of mine, under some wood in my 600g thread.

My 115 tall is from GC. It was a good price ($250 shipped? can't remember) and I am overall pleased with it. It is well built with lots of bracing. I have had it full of water for almost a year and not a single problem with leaking. the silicon in the top brace in the back turned a funky yellow color, but haven't noticed that anywhere else in the tank.

If you are looking for a show tank I would take a look at all the vendors on the market. I had ordered a rimless tank but it came in with a rim. I was surprised to see this on their last shipment. The silicone seams were my issues on this tank. I will order again from them in the near future.

Yea, cruising thru the reviews, it seems like you have more trouble with GC if you try to get custom work from them. If you buy something from stock it seems thats where the get their most satisfied customers. I know when slone ordered his tanks they messed up. He wanted tanks drilled in the back, but instead they drilled the bottom and he had to redesign his system.

I called today and was told they couldn't do euro brace on a 48x30 or a 72x24 or anything. IMO that's rediculous. They said it would probablyl be in the 1000-1200 dollar range lmao. I can get a blue series tank for that kinda money lol...

and the back bracing (hard to see in this pic):

the back bracing is a strip of glass running the whole length of the aquarium. It is more convienent this way because all your plumbing only has 1 inch of back glass to hang over rather than 3 inches with the front bracing.

I guess the yellow coloration of the silicone went away, perhaps it was some weird algae growing along the back of the tank, or maybe it was in my head? who knows?
