Glass Covers

I am setting up a 10 gallon reef and I wanted to know:

Do you use a glass cover or do you have nothing in between the lights and the water?

If you use nothing in between the lights and the water do you find that dust or other stuff that floats in the air ends up in your tank?

Dont have to. I use nothing on my 15

If you're worried about stuff on the surface than look into a surface skimmer or build an overflow.
