glass front on an acrylic tank?

Is it possible to put a starphire glass front onto a custom tank where the rest is acrylic? This would be to decrease the overall weight.

i believe from what i've read in the past, glass and acrylic doesnt bond well.

I've read of acrylic and glass combination tanks, but that usually entails the bottom being being acrylic with glass being all the sides. I don't recall who the mfg was though.

yes paul b did it, i was considering it but a.g.e never got back to me and i found a deal on a large all glass.
