I was looking for a 3/4" glass hole saw. I am going to drill a 29 gallon tank to use as a cryptic fuge for my new setup. Anyone have one I can use or know anywhere local that sells them before I order online?

Thanks

Paul

I have one for 3/4" bulkheads, but it's actual size is 28mm or 1.1". You can borrow it for free if you want. I'm in the valencia area, zip 16046.

Thanks. I didn't even think about Harbor Freight. I will check there first tomorrow, it might be nice to have one around just in case. I have to drill a hole in the 225 for a return also anyways since I don't want to go over the rim. If not I will take one of you up on the offer to borrow one. thanks again!

Best Tile in Wexford, Lowes, Home Depot. Look in the flooring section if they aren't in the tool section.

www.glass-holes.com is a great place. I've used them for a long time now and have been nothing but pleased. I had sizes from 3/4 - 2" if you would like to borrow some. Located near New Stanton.

You need a diamond coated hole saw...I don't think Lowes and Home Depot carry those do they?

I didn't find them in HD or Lowe's. Those were the first places I looked. I know Harbor freight has some other glass tools and stuff to work with glass so I will try it tomorrow.

I got mine off ebay. I think I paid like 7 dollars a piece for them or something. Mine are either too small or too large for your purposes though.

I got one at HD and it turned out to be the wrong size. It was 1 3/8" and it turns out you need a hole 1 7/16 to 1.5" according to savko. Harbor freight did not have any. I did find this site where they are cheap as hell. It's in Hong Kong but shipping was like $1.70 for standard (5-14 days).
