glass holes kit

anyone here use a Glass Holes kit on a standard tank? if you did could I see some photos? Also would like to know any comments, good /bad regarding installation and operation.

I have used them on my 29gal & 60 gal Tank. actually both the same kit 700gal .only mod I did is add another hole on the sides of the overflow . like the kit ,easy to do , drilled 3 holes in less then 15 min .

It`s not bad ,can`t hear it and it sits next to my TV. My CPR overflow made hell of a lot more noise and my 12 gal biocube sounds like a water fall !

I have the 3000 kit on a 180. I am pushing it to the limits and have the tank in a nook so it amplifies the sound off the walls. It was loud but it was coming from the plumbing not the box. Either way I was looking into adding some sound proofing panels and tested out shoving a pillow behind the tank and it became silent so I left the pillow there lol. Whatever works. The tank is completely silent now.

To go back in time I would buy it all over again.

I would do the same ! come to think of it my skimmer and fans make more noise !

I had it on my 55. it was easy to install and the directions were great. it was loud at first but once the slime coat developed on the pipes, it was silent. it was a great product.
