Glass-Holes overflow

Hi!

I'm setting up a new 205g acrylic tank. I bought it from a local reefer and it has a really really small central overflow box (back panel). I had only room in it for a single 1.5" bulkhead. I drilled it in and fired the Iwaki MD-70RLT up only to find that the bulkhead has to pull a full siphon to handle the pump. I.e. It drains, fills, drains, fills.... Even with a reduction to 3/4" pipe and head loss. So, I am thinking of getting the glass holes 1500gph kit. Since the tank is euro-braced, I am going to have to cut another access hole in the eurobracing in order to place the bulkheads. Correct me if I am wrong here... My question is, am I safe to do this, or is it going to hurt the tank structurally? Dim: 96" x 24" x 20.5"H. 3/8" bottom and euro-bracing, 1/2" sides. All acrylic. Also, if anyone has any pics
of theirs in operation, I'd like to get some scale, so if you'd post them, that'd be awesome. Thanks in advance!
