glass scratched!

has anybody had a scratch buffed on glass?

if so, by whom and how much did it cost? also, how did it turn out?

when i got my 125, me and the store owner were taking it out of the building and the tank rubbed against the door handle and scratched it fairly badly. if you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, it cant be taken out, if you cant feel the scratch, it can. i used a compound called cerrum(sp) oxide. i bought a kit off here http://www.caswellplating.com/buffs/glass.htm and it only tooke 20 minutes to get about 10" of scratches out.

cool. I have cerium oxide, I just need the applicator.

anybody paid to have this done? wondering how much it goes for.

Don't bother. Its way too much work. Learn to look through a different part of the tank
