Glass shop (cutting) local?

OK, looks like finding a local person to rebuild this tank is not going to happen. Even the guy in Sacramento is not responding to PM. So, I ordered a couple tubes of GE RTV108 silicone from Amazon and I'm going to do it myself.

But.........If I'm going to take the time to do this I want to get the front edges re-beveled and cut slightly.

Does anyone know a glass shop in the area capable of cutting and beveling 1/2" glass. I know it's a specific type of machine they use to do this.

Thanks All,
D

You are so technical Mr U. I didn't mean "a couple" as in a "pair", I was speaking colloquially and implying a few. I actually went to a place called drillspot and ordered 6 tubes. I found a site that estimated the caulking needed for a boat seam by inch and then I multiplied by 2. I figure that should be a good estimate. It came out to 7 for this tank, so I ordered 6 because I don't want to overkill.

Now, the sides should not be tempered which is what I want to "trim" and bevel. I thought only the bottom would be tempered. A good glass shop should know. We've got to have one around.

not sure if they can bevel glass, but try calling "All Glass" in Concord off of willow pass.....worth a shot.....

Anyone? I would like to know as well. I have an overflow ive been meaning to put together for a long time but havent taken the time to find someone - preferably someone in the Oakland/Berkeley/Alameda area. TIA

D,
How big is your box and if you dont mind, how much did it cost you to get it cut? Did you have them cut holes too?
TIA
Theo
