Glass shop in Central FL?

Anyone know of a glass shop around Orlando? I need some pieces of glass cut for my new sump. Is there any place I can just give them the dimensions of a few pieces and they'll cut it for me? I've tried cutting the pieces myself, but I can't seem to get a good straight cut.

Thanks

There is a shop at the corner of Princeton and OBT that cut the baffles for my sump a few months ago. They worked out fine. It was about $50 for 5 pieces (15"x17" or something like that). They had about an hour turnaround time. I can not remeber the name, but I can take a look on my way to work on Tuesday.

There is a Great Glass shop that drilled my tank in Oviedo Called Guy's Glass. Check 'em out. I was happy with the work he did for me. I highly recomend his shop!

You do want 1/4" clear glass, right? I'll make the sizes you asked and let you know when they are ready. Price $0.00. Glad to help out a brother!

Can you cut me all the glass to build a 240 TALL? 72 X 31 X 24? Just checking? 72 x 31 x 24 preferable low e-glass too I believe has to be 3/8 thk I promise Ill be a brother too....

Heh, heh.... I can cut it! But I don't have a table large enough to cut the long pieces. I have a bunch of 1/4" clear and some mirror the Harmen glass was throwing away. I got lucky and called them the day they were cleaning out their warehouse. I don't have any 3/8 or 1/2. I don't mind helping you'll out if I can. I built a 25g cube for a QT 18x18x18. it holds water even, lol.

Roger that. Its actually not even worht the trouble to try and make something that large. I appreciate your enthusiasim though. Glass cages makes that tank with cross braces and engineering for about $570. You add up your glass and labor and wood bracing to make it and silicone you come to the conclusion you might save $30. I was being a Smart A#$ lol..I cant even buy the glass that cheap. The little shop has a mark up on the special order for 3/8 thk low e right off the top then he has a cut man who has to eat too then the transporttation and the jiggin up braces to hold it all. My luck Id break a piece and there goes my overhead.. Just not worth the hassle when I can get it dropped shipped complete ready for H2o at my front door with 2 burly truckers ready to help me lift to the stand. Thanks anyhow. Your a stand up guy!
