glass suction cups

Anyone know if there is a place in the area where you can rent them? Or have a pair Smmscott and I could borrow.....we got the 120 tank downstairs easy enough, but now that it needs to come upstairs gravity is no longer our friend. Hoping that the big suction cups would give us a better way to grab(and hopefully not drop) the tank, it's almost as wide as the stairwell (old house) and so we can't get a 3rd or 4th person to help.

If you have a harborfreight near you it would be worth $12 to have them if you guys are doing it alone. If you need help moving the thing I'm sure there are enout guys around that would swing by and help.

An appliance dolly is the way to go. Just moved 2 110-120 ish tanks and it was easier than trying to lift and carry. Plus the appliance dolly's have the sliders on the back and can roll right up the stairs.

the glass suction cups slip I would not trust them for lifting that much weight I have had them come off a little windshield. And I had the good ones not the cheapies.

Tank is upstairs now. It really wasn't too bad. I called in on a favor from a guy I work with who lives around the corner. Worked out well. I guess this means a build thread of some sort it is in order. I think it is funny I get to set up a 120 in the living room so she can have the basement for her large tank.
